The year is 2334 the place is Tau Ceti one of Earths 26 colonies. Earth has just recovered from a devastating war with a sister race the Omapa, they were contacted in the year 2299 and almost instantly a war began over territories, they the Omapa had very little in the way of space forces but there planet was in the size region of Saturn, so there ground troops out numbered ours 7 to 1 the only reason they surrendered was because we brutally bombarded there planet with asteroids for 2 years, after which there planet was little more than a big dust cloud anyway that finished 8 years ago and still Earth hasn't regained to there full military strength, the Omapa have started to rebuild there planet but we estimated it would take over 60 years for things to return to what they were like before the war. Earth is helping the Omapa to build up a stronger military fleet to fight a greater bad not yet seen but only heard from listening posts, at present the Earth, Omapa alliance has only 36 cursers 78 raiders and 3800 fighters but if what the listening posts have picked up is correct Earth should last for about 4 weeks if the hunters attack.
My name is Martin Gray and I am a E.O.A (Earth Omapa Alliance) Commander in charge of a small but powerful group of elite Raiders, were the new S.A.S, our job is to bale Earth out of war situations and to quell rebellions and to hunt down pirates, but at the moment we've been given a new assignment to find the Hunters assess there forces and to quietly plant a few bombs if they don't come in piece...............To be continued in the next issue.
